CLICK ON THE PICS for full size ones
Saturday, March 26, 2005 Fishing Report
Today it just so happened "same time, same place". Yep, 4:00pm, river near the mouth. Tide was outgoing, and water temp 81.
As usual, the wife got the first bite. She pulled in a little 9 incher whiting.

It was a mix of a few more, about 9 inches, a 10.5" Sand Trout, and a boat load of catfish. Especially after sunset; we caught nothing but catfish from sunset until 9:00pm. Blah.
Here's my big cat, lol. Stinkin' big too. I have no idea why the smile.

Hey at least we caught another good sunset.

And good thing boats have radios because the little girl was dancing to the beat.

Bugs were bad again near the mangroves. Getting out towards the middle of the river and over by Redfish Point the bugs were minimal. We brought OFF this time.
We caught lots of nasty oysters too, especially just north of the slow zone (south of Tarpon Point).
Bait used was frozen calamari, and frozen shrimp.
