Saturday, April 16, 2005 Fishing Report
We got started on land about 3:30pm. Had a glimpse of Bill and saw that he is doing well. Didn't know he retired down here in Florida.

Now to really start the report. We got started about 4:30pm. Headed to the usual spot. Not much action in the water today.
I caught the first, a Spotted Seatrout.

Then Carlos got the next one. Catfish. Well, at least it was good for him!

Then Karla caught a ladyfish that proceeded to produce excrement all over the boat and her leg.

The fishes were small today. The cooler-than-normal water must have been keeping the big ones away today.
The kids kept the outing interesting.

Caught a great sundown over the Cape Coral Yacht Club pier.

We used frozen shrimp, calamari, and shrimp look-alike lures. We received the most bites on the frozen shrimp.
Water temperature was about 74.
