Today would be an outing just to "stretch the legs".
About 1pm we headed for the close-by spot in the river just south of the Cape looking for anything that would bite.
Carlos wanted me to take a "My wires are crossed" picture so here it is (Amber too), as well as point out that the styrofoam cooler lid had launched itself into the sea:
Amber's doll caught a fish so here that one is:
And finally, one monster catfish was on the menu for me:
We headed back in after about 2 hours as lightening was approaching. After not being out for about a month, it was a relief to find that there was still a comfortable sea breeze, even in the midst of summer.
