"Welcome, Carlos & Family"
Carlos, Sr. is in town with his family and so tonight 3 of us went out: Carlos & his son Josh (17), and myself. We left a little before sunset and headed toward a place in the river south of Cape Coral.
We used bait that I had caught earlier in the week in Bonita Springs.
After dark Josh hooked up on this lady fish:

After not anything else, we headed toward Shell Point with intentions of heading out to the "shark zone" which is the area between the Sanibel Light House and the FMB pier. While at Shell Point, we shined the light in the water and saw quite a bit of what appeared to be lady fish. However, Carlos' patience was running low so after a brief stay and no hookups at Shell Point, we headed back home.
On the way we checked a few snook
lights and saw significantly less activity than observed during our March
3rd outing.
