"  Slow day and we got soaked.  "

I was aching to get out and go fishing again, so I was able to convince Karla to come.  We were on the water by noon, and soon we caught about a dozen nice fatty pinfish at the flats near Sanibel Causeway Span A.

Then we headed to Span B looking for Alfred (the famous goliath grouper) or one of his younger relatives.

2:40pm

There was no such luck.  We were chased by heavy rains from the north, and were actually caught in the downpour.  We went back to Span B, then later Span A.  Karla had a few bites but nothing surfaced.
