A Month Or Two Later
Generac sent out a replacement pressurewasher-to-wand hose.  But this is not what I asked for.

The problem is still happening.  I have found that the fitting that connects the hose to the pump has to be on and pushed on tight, or else it will surely blow apart under pressure, causing the rubber oring on the hose end to get lost.

Having a problem.  Wrote this to customer service.  Rcvd ref number 030921-000056:

Dear Customer Service:

I recently purchased a Generac 2400 PSI pressure cleaner model 1537-I, SN 7151356, type 5280CP. For the 15 hours it has been in use, I have had a problem occur about 10 times.

The problem is this:
Sometimes, the pressure hose "blows" right off of the pressure cleaner pump. This usually causes the rubber oring inside of the hose fitting to be propelled far, and cannot be found. I have used up all of the spare orings and now will be in a bind if this happens again. Yes, I am verifying that the hose fitting is pushed securely on the male mate on the pump.

I request the following:
Send me about a dozen orings so that I can replace these as needed.
AND/OR
Send me a replacement hose fitting and/or a pump-side mating fitting that I will install so that this problem does not continue to happen.

Thankyou & sincerely,
